Located at 6450 Sepulveda Blvd # F, Van Nuys, CA 91411, 99 Ranch Market operates as an asian grocery store serving Van Nuys in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under supermarket, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Van Nuys with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in California may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (818) 988-7899. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, 99ranch.com.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 3,672 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded asian grocery stores in Van Nuys.

Van Nuys is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. This market has a huge selection of food and so many different things to choose from. I was impressed by the variety, especially the fresh produce, meats, seafood, snacks, and Asian ingredients that can sometimes be difficult to find elsewhere. It’s one of those places where you come in looking for a few things and end up discovering something new. Definitely a great market to shop at!

One of the best grocery stores in Los Angeles. I was genuinely excited when I discovered 99 Ranch Market. For a long time, I had been looking for tofu skin, and this was one of the few places where I was finally able to find exactly what I needed. What I love most about this store is the incredible variety of products that you simply won’t find in a typical American supermarket. Every visit feels like discovering something new. The fresh produce, noodles, sauces, spices, frozen foods, and specialty ingredients make it a paradise for anyone who enjoys Asian cooking. Over time, I’ve also grown to appreciate the Chinese approach to food and ingredients. There is a strong focus on freshness, variety, and using ingredients that many people in the West overlook. Walking through the aisles gives me new ideas for meals every time. The store is clean, well-organized, and full of authentic products. Whether you’re looking for something specific or just want to explore Asian cuisine, this is absolutely a place worth visiting. I’m very glad I found it, and it has become one of my favorite markets in Los Angeles.

Van Nuys 99 Ranch Market has a HUGE Seafood section with many tanks of live fish, crabs and lobsters swimming around (you can't get fresher than that!) plus other fresh and frozen seafood in their counters and freezers. This store carries a wide selection of brands, a big produce section with many Asian vegetables and fruits you cannot find in regular stores. They also have a bakery section with delicious desserts near the entrance plus a hot food deli where you can get BBQ duck, char siu, choose entrees, noodle or rice dishes, vegetable and side dishes to go. Refrigerated cases have many kinds of tofu, noodles, pickles, fish balls, etc to choose from. I also like this store for bulk packages of spices like cinnamon sticks, cloves, Five Spice Powder (that actually has a blend of 8 different aromatic spices I love) that I use for cooking and teas. Carries many different brands of soy sauce, sauces, rice, teas and other Asian staples. Asian brand personal care items (shampoos, cosmetics, hygiene products) and just about every flavor of Spam (for my friend who was having a hard time finding spicy Korean flavor Spam). ❀️ love the 99 Ranch Market!

Mainly stopped in for one thing (out of state). It didn't disappoint. Loved the bakery! Found what I was looking for and of course more. Highly recommend buying 2 buns and a drink for about $5. Or more buns. Their milk tea n boba was delicious. The other fruity citrus green tea with lemon was refreshing!
